I love focus follows mouse, but I was wondering if it could be disabled temporarily while the alt key was depressed?

So while the alt key is pressed the mouse can leave the window, and any other windows are not focused until the alt key is released.

(this would help with the unity menu bar, but also things like gimp while trying to visit the "layers" window without hovering over any other open images)

Anyone have ideas?
