I want to use my old windows NTFS partition for storing data.I managed to make almost all work except for torrent files. I tried all torrent clients but all fail to save on NTFS. It is working on the last Ubuntu 11.10 but not on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.

How do I set the permissions for NTFS systems?

Can you write other files to the NTFS partition? – Lekensteyn Dec 4 '11 at 15:14

NTFS-3G supports all operations for writing files: files of any size can be created, modified, renamed, moved, or deleted on NTFS partitions – One Zero Dec 4 '11 at 14:07
I know about ntfs-3g and it is already installed. But the torrent clients still cannot save on ntfs. – george Dec 6 '11 at 6:15
