I have installed Ubuntu 11.04 on an Asus KGPE-D16 motherboard with onboard ASPEED graphics card. However, I can't find the proper drivers for the graphics and I am not able to detect the monitor. How can I solve this?

What is your exact graphicas card model, ASPEED doesn't exist. – Uri Herrera Nov 22 '11 at 1:04
How can I know this? I think is the one coming onboard with my motherboard, but that's all I know. – fabikw Nov 22 '11 at 2:00
The graphics card is indeed ASPEED. I managed to install the drivers from aspeedtech.com/support.php but I don't know how to tell the xserver to use them. – fabikw Nov 22 '11 at 3:24
My bad then, i'm thinking you will need to load the driver module into the kernel, sorry if i'm not saying much but it's an option though you would need to build your own kernel with the drivers you downloaded. – Uri Herrera Nov 22 '11 at 4:24
