I have installed Remmina on a Lenovo thinkpad E325 with 11.10 and it works fine. Then I did exactly the same on my Samsung RV511 (2GB RAM). The installation obviously went fine. But when I click on the Remmina icon in order to start it - nothing happens.

Here's what I get. Ubuntu 11.10 64bit. Gnome 3.

$ remmina
Remmina plugin VNC (type=Protocol) registered.
Remmina plugin VNCI (type=Protocol) registered.
Remmina plugin RDP (type=Protocol) registered.
Remmina plugin RDPF (type=File) registered.
Remmina plugin RDPS (type=Preference) registered.

Some additional info will be helpful, open a terminal, type remmina in it and hit enter. It will give you a couple of errors, post them here. – Javier Rivera Nov 16 '11 at 10:34
I have the same problem, and when running from terminal I get a segmentation fault. I have this issue on both Ubuntu 11.10 and Mint 12. The error I see in /var/log/syslog and /var/log/kern.log is as follows: segfault at 0 ip 00007f67a550b02b sp 00007fffce39c6d0 error 4 in libfreerdpkbd.so.0.0.0 – Richard Keller Nov 28 '11 at 10:01
try purging and reinstalling? It sounds like freerdp on which remmina is based have issues! – Stefano Dec 5 '11 at 12:04
