My Friend has given me his old laptop, it has UBUNTU installed on it. He has since left the country and I cant contact him for help using UBUNTU ATM. I have just got myself a router from TALKTALk (DSL2780) and am trying to establish a wireless connection to the internet. The laptop has found the Router. When I try to connect, typing in my password ... nothing happens other than the laptop asking me to enter the password again and again and again ....

Would anyone be able to help me with this?

Perhaps your router is blocking the connetion, what security protocol it uses? – Uri Herrera Nov 14 '11 at 3:41
