Unity window snap gets stuck

My issue is that when navigating my desktop, particularly when moving to the launcher menu (not manipulating windows at this time), the window snap highlight gets stuck.

The desktop works, no crash or data loss is experienced. To remove the empty highlighted window I have to seek an open program and snap it to any direction.

Any ideas?

Launchpad Bug #887872

You're right, I've actually experienced that myself. File a bug about it on Launchpad.net and I'll confirm it. – Jo-Erlend Schinstad Nov 8 '11 at 21:00
I just filed a bug report now. – DonatelloJones Nov 9 '11 at 3:42
The above bug is a duplicate of bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/875557 which is already fix committed (but not fix released). Once it is released, should we perhaps delete this question? – achiang Nov 10 '11 at 15:52

Yuck, I get this too. One workaround is to press super-s (super is also called the windows key) to do the unity spread (aka exposé), and then double-click back on the workspace you originally were in.

Not pretty.

What's the bug number you filed?
