I've experienced something weird with Unity and that is that sometimes the Alt+Tab switcher stops showing (yes, only showing because I can still to blind switch between applications), and the left unity bar is only shown on the desktop.

I might think that it's compiz, but the rest of the effects are ok :S

I don't have the exact sequence to repeat this error, it seems to be random :S

Do you know what could it be?

Even when it's not a total crash of unity, the best solution I have found is to restart Unity using unity --replace, but it keeps buggy. If I found a way to repeat this error I'll report it as a bug.. – Christian Vielma Oct 31 '11 at 16:17
