I am using Ubuntu 11.10 (a fresh install) and I noticed that while conky says I'm using 79% of my RAM (I have a 4GB i5 notebook), system monitor says I'm using 29%... Which one is the right one, and why do they differ?

EDIT. I tryed to run "top" in terminal,

and it says:

Mem: 3983492k total, 2630016k used,
1353476k free, 141220k buffers

Can anybody help?

Alex
