I have some issues with Grub2. Grub2 takes a a long time to load. Ever since I have added my SSD disk to my system and reinstalled my dual boot on that disk. When I remove all other disks from my system, grub load normally and boots quickly. My suspicion is that grub looks on my other 2 drives (2x500gig) for other operating systems to add them to the bootable list. How can I solve this?

Have you set the BIOS to load from your SSD? – Lekensteyn Oct 22 '11 at 11:59
Yes, my only boot device is my ssd. It hangs after my POST and before my grub selection screen. I see a blinking cursor. So I think grub is allready loading, not showing the selection screen. – jelle Oct 22 '11 at 12:07
