When I someone starts a conversation with me on Empathy, the envelope turns blue. After that, I don't get any notifications of new messages. Is there some way of re-enabling the old behaviour?

I am using Ubuntu 11.10

I have the same issue. The envelope in the notification area doesn't lit up or show any message count when I receive a new message in existing chat window. I'm confused if this is a change or a bug. Whatever it is I'd like to get the old behavior back. Is there any way to do so? Update: It seems to be a known bug. – Mushaf Oct 22 '11 at 9:58
