Since I have my "unity-panel-service" crashing every time I click on the loudspeaker button, I tried to debug the problem with GDB, to find the problem it crashes inside a GTK call. So I installed the libgtk-3-0-dbg package and want to use it to debug. How can I use it instead of the non-debug version?

It is not off-topic. I've reported the bug already, that doesn't mean I don't want to know how to use -dbg packages. – lvella Mar 5 '12 at 15:40
