I have been stuck, and tried for so long now, I need help!
I don't know what I did then I am unable to boot into my ubuntu 14.04, installed on partition SDB8! I have reinstalled grub2 many times now, but still nothing happens. I booted into Live CD, and see the opened the volume that has my linux, and realized there is no vmlinuz file. So, I went to my flash disk that has live cd, copied cASPER folder, which has vmlinuz and pasted on my volume, then tried to reboot.
Grub menu I pressed edit, and changed the linux /vmlinuz to linux /casper/vmlinuz.efi then exit menu. rebooting, it hits the black screen saying KERNEL PANIC, VFS not syncing blabla.... I boot back into liveCD, not I can't see the volume with my linux. I opened GParted, and saw SDB8 is now mounted on /CDROM, and I can't unmount it.
I don't want to format my computer, I have way too much data on linux volume. Please help me!!
