I had similar problems on my Thinkpad X1. Disabling wireless N solved that. What wireless driver/kernel module are you using?

#/etc/modprobe.d/_wlan.conf
options iwlagn 11n_disable=1

Unforchanitly this did not work –  bmazoka Oct 24 '11 at 2:59

I presume ubuntu 11.04 used older version of wireless driver. Have you tried using that older version instead?

I don't know how to change it back to the older version –  bmazoka Oct 25 '11 at 23:54

In the future, I'd suggest buying hardware that's fully supported in linux to not deal with these issues: http://www.thinkpenguin.com/catalog/networking-modems

Second, you listed your PCI cards, while apparently you have a usb wifi card.

However, if you look here, someone seems to have gotten your card working in 11.10 http://myubuntunotes.wordpress.com/2011/03/03/hello-world/
