How can I hide/show user list at login screen?

Could you add more details? This question is kind of vague. Where is the user list you speak of? Are you trying to hide the entire list or just a few names of it? – Marco Ceppi Oct 15 '11 at 12:48

  1. In terminal, type

    sudo gvim /etc/lightdm/users.conf

Press button "i" for insert.

  1. Add username/s that u dont want visible to the line ...

hidden-users=nobody nobody4 noaccess username1

  1. Press button "Esc" and then ":" type "wq" and hit ENTER.
