The "Home" icon in the Unity Dock was set to the Edubuntu logo when I upgraded from Ubuntu 11.04 to 11.10.

How can I return to the theme and logo of ubuntu without uninstalling the newly installed packages for edubuntu on ubuntu 11.10?

Could you try installing ubuntu-desktop package and see if it works? – Capt.Nemo Oct 14 '11 at 21:47
