I shrunk my Ubuntu 10.04 drive and didn't format it. Now, my Ubuntu can't boot and when I try booting with Ubuntu 10.04 Live CD, I cannot see anything. I can only see the LOST+FOUND folder. I have repaired the grub with the live CD and repair it with Super Grub 2.0 too but that doesn't fix it. Finally I had to install Windows 7 64bit on another drive and in the Windows I tried with LinuxReader to access the Linux Drive and in this program I am able to see see all folders in the Linux partition but all the folders are empty but the partition had size(about 14 gig)

How Can I Access My Files And recover my Ubuntu OS without re-installing it?

I need to see your partition table. Login with live cd and paste output of this command : fdisk -l . login as root first in terminal – shantanu Oct 1 '11 at 14:09
i do that command and output for Linux was /dev/sda6 and for Windows was /dev/sda1 and all hard disk name was /dev/sda – Roozbeh Eskandari Oct 2 '11 at 7:37
what is your shrunk disk name? did you see lost&found folder in /dev/sda6 ? better to paste the original output of fdisk -l – shantanu Oct 2 '11 at 10:51

my answer to your 1th question( @shantanu ) : I use Paragon Partition Manager Live Disk to shrink Drive... and all thing work correctly But that program active and unmount my Linux Drive and when I want to active that drive I can't(I can active That drive).... I type that command in the Terminal (with Live UBUNTU cd) and output was:

ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ sudo fsck -n /dev/sd6 fsck from util-linux-ng 2.17.2 e2fsck 1.41.11 (14-Mar-2010) fsck.ext2: No such file or directory while trying to open /dev/sd6

The superblock could not be read or does not describe a correct ext2 filesystem. If the device is valid and it really contains an ext2 filesystem (and not swap or ufs or something else), then the superblock is corrupt, and you might try running e2fsck with an alternate superblock: e2fsck -b 8193

i try again that command and Result had:
