For a school project I need to download three youtube videos and save them to a CD. I am running Ubuntu 10.10; can anybody provide instructions on how to do this? I'm fairly new to Ubuntu so the more detail the better.

You're unlikely to find a useful Chrome extension by searching the Chrome Store because enabling YouTube video download violates the store's Terms of Services. However, if you install the "YouTube Options" extension, you'll find a disabled download option which you can enable by installing the full version (obtainable from the developer's website by following the link in the crippled version's options). –  Chan-Ho Suh Aug 19 '12 at 21:34
