Is there any utility or command on Ubuntu for checking spelling errors in a pdf file? or how can I integrate spellcheck in evince(1)? Please let me know.

You can use LibreOffice with the pdf-import extension, or use Abiword Install abiword, to edit your pdf documents with a spell checker.

I am testing the options. When I imported a pdf file in LibreOffice, some words are combined such as "theperformance" and therefore showing several spelling errors. – samarasa Sep 20 '11 at 2:13
