I've installed Calibre 0.7.44 . I tried to open a book (prc) but it said that the book was locked by DRM.

I downloaded "MobiDeDRM 0.16.py" and zipped it to "MobiDeDRM.zip".

Go to Preferences/Advance/Plugins/Add new Plugin but I couldnt see the zip file >_<.

I tried to download other plugins but Calibre still couldnt find any zip file?

What was I wrong here?

Removing DRM is illegal in the US (where this site has its roots) so we cannot allow questions like this. – Oli♦ Sep 7 '11 at 13:44
I also am having this issue. I purchased Kobo books assuming I would be able to remove the DRM. But to no avail. :-( – Daniel Clem Jan 2 at 21:23
