Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

It would be great if Ubuntu One will start provide easy to use remote helper service like TeamViewer. New Ubuntu users often need help of more experienced users and such just-provide-me-id-and-pass solution could help to populate Ubuntu.

AskUbuntu is meant to be a question/answer website. For feature requests, try: brainstorm.ubuntu.com –  michaelms Jul 29 '11 at 11:07

I agree, but this is not the place for it. -1 –  Jo-Erlend Schinstad Jul 29 '11 at 16:32

Empathy, the default instant messaging application in Ubuntu, has desktop sharing integrated.

Right-click on your XMPP/Jabber contact and click "share desktop".

Btw, this is a feature request and not a question. This here is the wrong place for feature requests. If you want to file one, look at http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/
