Im using docky in 11.04. Everytime when I customize (change the theme, add docklets, etc...) the dock, it crashes look like in the picture, but when I log out and log in again, it runs smoothly. How can I fix it?

How bad does it crash? Like, just completely shuts down/off and is not able to be restarted? Or does it just go in a standby mode ie it freezes and can't be unfrozen until you log out/back in as you say... –  zkriesse Jul 28 '11 at 5:25
Neither. As you can see in the picture, the left side of the dock is flat while the right side is 3D. Let me explain more clearly: when start the dock runs without no error (with 3D theme), but everytime I click on the Setting icon, the theme crashes. Quit the dock and restart it, there's no more error. It's weird... –  quangtruong1985 Jul 28 '11 at 6:21
Docky is okay, but I switched to glx-dock. It works for me, but it does require more tweaking to get it how you want it. –  hbdgaf Jul 28 '11 at 12:02
