I cannot install Ubuntu 11.04 on the Rocketraid 2310. I was able to build the module from the driver's source using the explanation here. But I cannot make it work.

From previous experience I know that first I have to remove the sata_mv module. But when I try to do this under 11.04 the system completely freezes (there was no such problem under 10.10 and earlier).

If I simply insert the module, the controller starts beeping, indicating the controller is not working properly.

Any ideas?
