How do I fix this “E:Type '*' is not known on line * in source list …” update error?

Whenever I run an update, or anything of the like from the update manager, I get this message. It tells me it's serious, how do I fix this?

E:Type 'nchpad.net/sevenmachines/flash/ubuntu' is not known on line 1 in 
source list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/sevenmachines-flash-natty.list

check /etc/apt/sources.list.d/sevenmachines-flash-natty.list and see if the lines in there are valid. Pay attention to the 1st line in the file ;) you can also add the contents of it to your post so we can have a look at it :) – Rinzwind Jul 22 '11 at 19:29

Yeah looks like that's not a valid line(?) Please follow user606723's answer. It looks to do what you need from what I can tell. – Rinzwind Jul 22 '11 at 19:37
