Icecast is a well-known streaming media server that can do what you need. You're not too specific if you want to make a single radio station stream or just be able to have a network media player, in that case check out Ampache.

Thanks Jorge. My english is not very good. I'm from Argentina. I'm trying to set a simple radio station to broadcast from time to time. Does Icecast do it? – santiagobasulto Jul 18 '11 at 20:01
Yep, icecast is what you want. – Jorge Castro Jul 18 '11 at 20:02
