As the screensaver is activated my screen lights up for a second or less (it looks like the screen flickers) before fading to a blank screen. Is this possible to fix? Or is it a bug?
I cannot reproduce the behavior by previewing screensavers. But I can reproduce it consistently by setting the screensaver timer as low as possible and wait. I'm guessing that the light up or light flicker has to do with the fade to blank screen animation failing in some way.
I'm using 11.04 with default screensaver settings except for screen locking deactivated and I've had this problem on other computers and in 10.10.
