I am trying to deploy a Juju charm which requires an updated 3.11 kernel on Ubuntu 12.04. Since kernel update requires a reboot, I'm thinking of creating a custom image which has the updated kernel.

From the MAAS docs, I am able to see information on importing images but not clear how to create custom images.

Is there any documentation available for creating custom images?

Thank you
