I just installed Ubuntu 14.04 on a 500GB HDD and I want to make another partition just for storage. I tried with gpart but I can't resize it. How can I do this?

This question was marked as an exact duplicate of an existing question.

You can ONLY change partitions that are unmounted so use the gparted live dvd. This is most likely asked before :) – Rinzwind Jul 15 '14 at 12:51
