I'm pretty sure my new mouse (1Life gm stormy) works on Windows, but it doesn't seem to be working on Ubuntu. The cursor doesnt move and the mouse's led just blinks.
What can I do?

Have you tried it in Windows does it work or not? Open a terminal and type lsusb. Look for mouse in the output. –  Pabi Jul 15 at 10:40

If the mouse works on Windows in exactly the same port, but does not work on Ubuntu, then that is a bug that you should report on Launchpad. –  bain Jul 15 at 10:57

The mouse works on Windows. I typed 'lsusb' onto the terminal. I can't tell what is my mouse. Check my other comment for the output. @Pabi –  user305701 Jul 15 at 11:02

run and add the results or link to your question; lsusb -v | pastebinit and dmesg | pastebinit –  Anders F. U. Kiær Jul 15 at 11:03
