I recently installed Xubuntu 14.04. During the installation it detected my WiFi adapter and connected fine. However, once I started using the system, the wireless adapter is no longer available. If I look under the network connections, it shows the WiFi network last used 1 day ago. However if I run the command sudo lshw -C network I get the following:

  *-network

Any ideas?
