Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

And how do I add images to that location? Some 'net site (I can't remember which one) said it was in /usr/share/backgrounds, but, though I have a long list of images in that folder, they don't show up in the Appearance utility's display of wallpapers. Why? As my Subject said, where does 14.04 store them, and how do I add images to that display?
