I have an old laptop. I installed Lubuntu on it, and everything was working propperly, until I desided to test suspending the laptop. The Machine suspends and wakes propperly, but since I woke it the wlan connection is gone. I have tried several things to get it back to running but nothing has helped. I tried to reboot my computer but the interface is still down.

here are the outputs I get when I start my pc:

michael@secure:~$ sudo rfkill list
[sudo] password for michael:
0: phy0: Wireless LAN
    Soft blocked: yes
    Hard blocked: no

then I do:

michael@secure:~$ sudo rfkill unblock 0
michael@secure:~$ sudo rfkill list
0: phy0: Wireless LAN
    Soft blocked: no
    Hard blocked: no

Then:

michael@secure:~$ ifconfig

Did I break my wlan card?

how can I get it to work with suspend?

I have not tried to boot from usb. but I will to see if the card works then.

Does anybody know something else I can try?
