I need some help with some older wireless adapters working with Ubuntu 14.04 running kernel 3.13.

Trying to install:

Linux Driver RTL8192su - This driver supports RealTek rtl8192SU USB Wireless LAN NIC for 2.6 kernel: Fedora Core 2/3/4/5, Debian 3.1, Mandrake 10.2/Mandriva 2006, SUSE 9.3/10.1/10.2, Gentoo 3.1, Ubuntu 7.10/8.04, etc. 2.4 kernel: Redhat 9.0/9.1

My first guess is that my kernel isn't supported based on the above information.
When I tried to make/make install I received several errors. See output below.

Is there any way that the driver can be compatible with my kernel or do I just need to purchase a newer wifi adapter?

This is the output I get when I run the "make" command:
