there are problems with a network on my PC with xubuntu. When using firefox there is connection, then after some time there is no connection (I don't know if that depends on time or on internet sites). To get it back I need to disconnect and connect again. Any idea what's wrong? Thanks a lot. Here is the output:

monika@soliton:~$ ifconfig -a

Do you plug/unplug the ethernet cable? Or are you using the network manager to connect/disconnect? –  jmunsch Jun 21 at 19:33
