I recently downloaded and installed kde-desktop on my ubuntu 14.04 64 bit desktop with the terminal command sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop but my unity theme stays on and I can't change it to kde desktop. Can anybody suggest me a way to do it?

Have you logout and change to KDE Desktop-environment at XDM? –  Pandya Jun 14 '14 at 10:15
