Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I am running an Ubuntu 13.10. Every time I reboot my computer, I have go to the terminal and type:

sudo service network-manager restart

to get wi-fi running. Is there any way to make this process automatic? It's also annoying that it takes so long so reboot, due to a "waiting an additional 60 seconds for network configuration".

Thank you.
