I have Xubuntu 13.04 and am having trouble with installing Ubuntu, so I was wondering, "Couldn't I just install Unity?". If there is no difference, then how would I go about installing Unity and deleting Xfce?

did you actually try to install Unity on 13.04? as you must know it's EOL release. Run: apt-cache policy unity to see available package before deleteing Xfce. –  JohnnyEnglish May 30 at 19:16

Unity is a graphic theme.

This is how Unity looks: enter image description here

XFCE is a whole desktop environment. This is how XFCE looks: enter image description here

XFCE is not a theme. XFCE is a whole desktop environment. It is different software, not just different background and icons. –  bain May 30 at 19:16
