Subsystem: Intel Corporation Device [8086:2044]
Kernel driver in use: i915
Kernel modules: i915

sudo hdparm -Tt /dev/sda

/dev/sda:

Have you done a full system update? apt-get update; apt-get dist-upgrade. Also you might like to consider upgrading to Ubuntu 14.04 - it has newer Intel drivers than 12.04. –  bain May 23 at 12:05

I have another system with same configuration but it works fine. –  user2622247 May 23 at 12:10

Have you checked /var/log/kern.log and /var/log/syslog for any errors or warnings? Is your other system also using Intel Ivy Bridge graphics? –  bain May 23 at 12:17
