Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have followed various advice regarding the installation of the spamassassin plugin for evolution. It still won't appear under the list of plugins in evolution. I am running ubuntu 14.04 LTS with evolution 13.10.4. The examples I have used are:

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HowToEnableSpamFilteringInEvolution

http://gnome.eu.org/index.php/Report_as_Spam_%28Rspam%29_Plugin

Both spamassassin and bogofilter were installed from the ubuntu repositories. Maybe someone has had this problem as well and can enlighten me.... The junk mail preference has the "include remote test" ticked, and all other junk mail related options are ticked.
