When trying to do something, I used the command "Service lightdm disable" or something like that. From the moment I did that, my lockscreen is not working anymore.

How do I make it working again? Should I "enable" lightdm? How would I go about doing that?

I'm using XUBUNTU 14.04.

sudo service lightdm restart or sudo service lightdm start –  Avinash Raj May 8 at 11:10

@AvinashRaj I did both of them and still can't lock-screen. It says: "job is already running: lightdm".. So that's probably not the reason why I can't lock-screen? –  Crake May 8 at 11:13
