Ask Ubuntu is a question and answer site for Ubuntu users and developers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I'm looking for a way to disable access to System Configuration for users in Ubuntu 12.04, specifically I'm trying to disable the access to sound configuration. Is there any way to do that?

I've tried it with Ubuntu Tweak, gcompiz and something else, but I don't have more ideas.

Could you help me please?

Thanks!
