I tried installing wvdial and configure the wvdialconf with number,username and password and it gives this

:/$` sudo wvdial
--> WvDial: Internet dialer version 1.61
--> Cannot open /dev/modem: No such file or directory
--> Cannot open /dev/modem: No such file or directory
--> Cannot open /dev/modem: No such file or directory

my lsusb gives this

I tried adding my device in the network connections>mobile broadband but its of no use and im still unable to connect my device.
