Using a MACBOOKPRO. MAC OS HFS partition was corrupted so formatted the partition and installed Ubuntu on top of that. I've been using Boot Repair to get this thing working. I can not load GRUB; however, I do have Refind loading up during startup. When I press option while booting up, I start Windows however it gets stuck at the screen before the windows logo. It constantly blinks "_". I would greatly appreciate any help and I am willing to give more info if I can. I am greatly avoiding a full drive format in order to fix this problem.

/dev/sdb, I assume is my secondary hard drive (I swapped my superdrive for a hard drive), however, no operating system is installed here. It is primarily a storage device.
