Wireless Faulty After Installing Ubuntu 13.10 I have installed ubuntu 13.10 in my laptop, but since that i cant connect to internet via wireless since i am new to ubuntu please let me know what are the possible reasons that my wireless connection is not working.

Welcome to AskUbuntu! A bit more information could be quite handy: What WiFi card are you using (Get it with lspci | grep WiFi, E.g. Realtek RTL8188CE), and what does the output of ifconfig say? –  the_Seppi Apr 13 '14 at 10:51
when is type lspci | grep WiFi its show null results similarly my card /0/100/1e/3 network BCM4309 802.11abg Wireless Network Control when i type ifconfig its lo Link encap:Local Loopback inet addr: Mask: inet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:Host UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:65536 Metric:1 RX packets:1328 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:1328 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 –  user266611 Apr 15 '14 at 16:28
