My second monitor is detected as unknown and doesn't support the resolution 1680x1050 like the other one does, and they're identical. Both are connected via separate VGA cables.

Here's my xrandr -q:

Are the lengths of both cables identical? –  Danatela Apr 4 at 2:42

No, they're different cables. –  Glend Gjermeni Apr 4 at 2:52

Try to switch them. If the problem with cable, monitors will be switched too. –  Danatela Apr 4 at 2:53
