I have ubuntu 12.04 AMD64 running on my ASUS K53Sv. Every thing works fine except USB 3.0 port but in Windows USB 3.0 works.

lsusb output:

This is a bug report, as shown in bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1337196 For help about it, please provide related information about the bug in the link mentioned. The bug as it looks is old but still affecting the same motherboard. –  Luis Alvarado Oct 7 at 23:47
