Generally sdc's MBR would be better and set BIOS to boot from sdc. Some old systems will not let you boot from other drives than sda, so then you have no choice. Advantage of sdc is then if you have hard drive issues with sdc you can from BIOS direct boot sda. –  oldfred Mar 6 '14 at 18:11
@oldfred Ok so after Ive set install bootloader what mount point should I set for sdc? maybe / ? Also should I install bootloader to sdc or sdc1? –  user255498 Mar 6 '14 at 18:17
BIOS systems only boot from MBR, so sdc. But if new UEFI system you still say sdc, but it puts grub's efi files in the efi partition where ever that is. Mount point is assigned to a partition not a drive. Or / (root) would be sdc1, /home sdc2, swap sdc3. I always make swap last. If very large drive I do not necessarily partition entire drive and suggest smaller / partition of 15 to 25GB. –  oldfred Mar 6 '14 at 21:30
