I switched from openSUSE to Kubuntu because of bad funtion of XBMC in openSUSE, but in Kubuntu my remote control does not work out of the box, this related with systemd? Because in archlinux the remote control also works out of the box.

The hardware is a TV tuner. Are we talking about infrared? It may need the tag lirc then.. please edit your question to give us more details. –  Takkat Mar 1 '14 at 22:39

Have you installed lirc? It's not a default install in the Ubuntu-based distributions. –  douggro Mar 2 '14 at 6:35
i solved installing lirc and setting linux input layer as the remote driver(and rebooting) –  user091230912 Mar 2 '14 at 14:51
