I've a dual boot XP and Ubuntu 12.04, installed with Windows installer. Will Ubuntu be safe after april 2014?

Delete the xp partition and use ubuntu full time. I did that like 3yrs ago. Best decision ave ever made. – Parto Feb 22 '14 at 15:11

Yes. All this means is that Windows XP will not receive security updates any more, but this does not concern your Ubuntu installation. Ubuntu 12.04 will be supported until April 2017:

I would think that it would make sense to upgrade your Windows to a supported version, such as 7. Having less-than-ideal security in your Windows partition will leave you susceptible, though your ubuntu partition will not be the issue. I would not feel comfortable using the XP partition after the end of its secured life, and at that point, what's the point in having it? Seems like the best options would be to replace it with 7 or make the machine fully ubuntu.
