I am using Ubuntu 12.04 and GDM.

However, when the system is idled for a while, it eventually ends up to lock screen. And the resolution is changed to lower resolution when I login again.

I need to go to:

System Setting -> Display

to set the resolution again.

How can I prevent the resolution lowered when Ubuntu goto the lock screen?

And the ibus application does not run too. I need to click System Settting -> Display. Then the resolution will come back and the IBus input method also come back. Seems some process is not run when login from lock screen. Thanks –  Peter Hon Feb 20 '14 at 14:28
