I'm using squid proxy server with Ubuntu 12.04.03 LTS to provide secure access to internet in my LAN. But i also want to create log of each user which access network through proxy so that to can be useful to trace criminal activity. Is there anyway i can maintain a database of user activity on my proxy server, with the ip & content accessed by users via my proxy server.

Create script by separate each user intro file from access.log –  josecarlos Mar 11 '14 at 21:07
@josecarlos actually i'm newbie in server admin, so i didn't get access.log part. Can you explain it little bit more. –  DeepSidhu1313 Mar 17 '14 at 16:04
I advice you read the "Squid Proxy Server 3.1 Beginners Guide" book, specifically "Chapter 5: Understanding Log Files and Log Formats" –  josecarlos Mar 17 '14 at 17:53
